Black Bear
- Black bears are abundant, and big
bears are taken every year. Hunters should see an average of
3-5 bears a day and have several opportunities to harvest
a good bear. Typically we harvest 6-7 1/2 ft bears which
average between 17-21 B&C points.

are high in the area we hunt. These mountain grizzlies are a
coveted trophy. Our Bears typically go 7 ft - 8 1/2
ft.

Canadian Moose
-We hunt in one of the highest Moose density
areas in North America. Although moose are plentiful, that
doesn't mean they are dumb. Bulls can be elusive that is
why we try to hunt them in the rut. The rut usually begins
around the last week of September and runs through the third
week of October. Some breeding does take place before and
after these dates, however the majority of breeding takes
place during this time. A mature bull in this area will
average 30-50 inches wide with big bulls going 50+ inches.

Elk - Elk populations are on
the rise, regulations require that only six point or better
bulls can be harvested, ensuring higher bull/cow ratios and
young bulls get an opportunity to mature. Bulls between
280-340 B&C points are common, with larger class bulls
going 340-380 B&C.

Mule
Deer - Mule deer populations are on the
rise. Several record book bucks have been harvested in the
regions we hunt. Mature four point bucks will average between
130 & 160 B&C with the big bucks going 170+. We also
offer Whitetails which can be added for a trophy fee as a
second deer, although not as plentiful as the Mule Deer, the
Whitetail here can get large and make an excellent
trophy.

Predators - We have good populations of Lynx to hunt and we
certainly have no shortage of coyotes. Wolves although elusive
are abundant in this area and it is recommended every hunter
have a wolf tag. You can hunt predators as an add on to your
regular hunt, but we also offer predator only
hunts during December - February when we hunt predators
exclusively.

Waterfowl - Every year thousands of
geese and ducks migrate through the central interior of B.C.
stopping for several weeks to rest and feed in the rich
agricultural lands of the Central Interior. Common species are
Greater and Lesser
Canada
Geese, Mallard, Northern Pintail, Blue and Green wing Teal,
and various other species of ducks. Hunts will be guided on private
land consisting of barley, alfalfa, and pea
crops. The primary
focus will be on geese, but there will be many opportunity for
ducks.

Fishing - Fish opportunities abound
in this part of B.C. The many lakes and rivers hold an
abundant diversity of cold water fish. Rainbow, Lake Trout,
and Dolly Varden, are the most common sport fish caught.
If you finish your hunt early, you are welcome
to fish as much as you’d like. We have a few rods/reels
in some camps, but you may wish to bring your own, especially
if you are a serious fisherman. fly and spin/casting methods
all work well.
