Big River Outfitters was
founded by Olin Albertson in and is located in
Vanderhoof, British Columbia. Big River Outfitters offers quality
hunts for: Canada Moose, Elk, Mule Deer, Whitetail Deer,
Grizzly, Black Bear, Wolf, and Waterfowl.
We are a small family run
operation. Our
goal is to be a quality and professional operation; to provide
our hunters with a successful and enjoyable hunting
experience; to promote hunting in a positive and ethical way
so that future generations may enjoy the same;
to develop lasting friendships with our clients,
and have our clients want to return year after year to hunt
with us.

Biologist:
Welcome to
Big River Outfitters. I was born and raised in Vanderhoof,
B.C., working in the farming, ranching, logging, and guide
outfitting industries. Wildlife and the outdoors have always
been my passion. I attended
Utah
State
University and
received a
Bachelors of Science in Fisheries and
Wildlife. I worked as a Wildlife Biologist for the
United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) – Wildlife
Services. I also spent an additional five years working for
the USDA in Range Management, Natural Resource Law Enforcement
and Wildlife Management. With this training and
experience, I am committed to sound management practices of
our tremendous wildlife and natural resources. I invite you to
